Effect of extracts of two aquatic plants Typha domingensis (Pers), and Lemna minor (Lamarc) on Ecophysiology of common carp Cyprinus carpio (Linnaeus)

This study aimed at investigating the impacts of aquatic extracts two macrophytes Typha domingensis (Pers) and Lemna minor(Lamarc) on Ecophysiology common carp Cyprinus carpio (Linnaeus) reared in waste water. A total eighty fish were divided into four groups, each group consists ten fish. Four treatment used with replicates they made as follow; water, clean water (control), water- extract T. L. minor. Healthy freshwater weighing about 35.75 ± 0.60g obtained from aquaculture station Marine Science Centre /University Basrah. Physicochemical properties waters recorded controlled. The diet given to water–aquatic plant groups was mixed for one night. Blood smears taken. White blood cells/1 mm3 counted by using Neubaur Improved Haemocytometer light compound microscope. results indicated that number white cells control sample more than While numbers separately treated minor close sample.
